ThisWaye
Thiswaye as a layout has been built to exhibition standards , has been displayed at various locations across the South West and is available for future exhibition use.
Thiswaye is a finescale layout that is DC or DCC compatible to suit the stock being used. It is a branch line station set in the South West and loosely based on Helston. There is a focus towards the Great Western Railway, however the layout has been built to incorporate the period 1900 to 1990, so stock will change throughout the day to reflect the changing periods. The layout is approximately 25ft x 8ft (including operating space and fiddle yard) and has its own lighting , fully working signals and scenery contemporary to the period. Test Track
The club has a new 4-road oval test track (approximately 24ft x 16ft) that is available for continuous running including finescale, Scale 7 , DC or DCC. It is fully transportable and is available for use should an exhibition manager /club require this type of resource as an alternative to a layout. One of the benefits is that one of the lines can run Scale 7 alongside finescale lines so attracting a wider audience.
